We're currently seeking a Yard Supervisor to oversee daily yard operations, lead a dedicated team, and ensure safe and efficient handling of materials and deliveries.
Key Responsibilities: - Lead and supervise yard staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Load/unload materials using forklifts and other equipment
- Maintain organized yard layout and accurate inventory
- Coordinate deliveries and support dispatch/logistics operations
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure equipment is operated correctly
- Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
Requirements:
Requirements: - Minimum 2 years of experience in a yard, warehouse, or construction-related field
- Proven team leadership or supervisory experience
- Forklift certified or significant forklift operating experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work approximately 50 hours per week (Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Saturday)
Preferred Qualifications (a major plus): - CDL (Commercial Driver's License)
- Experience with delivery coordination or dispatch operations
