What we are looking for:
Someone who can set their own pace, work in a team environment. Experience in the fence industry is a plus but we are willing to train someone with relatable skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
- Assemble various sizes and types of gates and panels.
- Examine gate components to verify conformance to quality standards.
- Lift and position variable sized components required to assemble the gate either manually or using hoists onto and off of the assembly tables.
- Assemble components of the gate.
- Use clip crimping tools to clamp gate clips on gate frames.
- Use pliers to secure chain link fabric onto gate frames using gate ties.
- Hand lace wire to secure chain link fabric on certain gates and/or temporary panels.
- Secure the scroll to the gate frame by lifting and securing the gate in a jig, then,
- Use hand-held power drill and tek screws to attach gate scrolls onto gate frames.
- Load finished gates or panels onto pallets or banding stands as directed.
- Slide banding underneath the product and place banding in a clasp and tighten with a crimping tool.
- Label individual pieces and pallets of product accurately.
