Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Forklift Operator / Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our warehouse team. This position is responsible for receiving incoming shipments, unloading containers, organizing inventory, pulling orders, and preparing products for shipment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, operating a sit-down propane forklift, and assisting in various warehouse functions as needed.

Schedule

7:00 am - 3:30 pm Monday to Friday

Responsibilities

• Unload containers and incoming shipments in the receiving area.
• Verify received materials and assist with inventory tracking using company computer systems.
• Store materials in designated warehouse locations using a sit-down propane forklift.
• Move, organize, and handle materials manually when required.
• Pull customer orders accurately and prepare them for shipment.
• Pack products into boxes and prepare shipments according to company standards.
• Build wooden crates for shipping when necessary.
• Assist with general warehouse duties and support other departments as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and forklift operating guidelines.

Requirements

• Previous warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience preferred.
• Experience operating a sit-down propane forklift preferred.
• Ability to safely unload containers and move materials throughout the warehouse.
• Basic computer skills for inventory and warehouse tracking.
• Use hand and power tools
• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
