About the Role:

The Counter Sales Support and Warehouse Associate plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Honolulu branch. This position is responsible for assisting customers at the counter, supporting sales activities, managing inventory, and preparing orders for shipment. The ultimate goal is to maintain an efficient, well-organized workspace that supports timely and accurate order fulfillment while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Contributions
By balancing sales support with warehouse duties, this role helps optimize workflow, maintain product accuracy, and ensure customers receive the right products on time. The associate will work closely with team members to enhance productivity and uphold our commitment to customer satisfaction.

This position is considered hybrid, with 50% of the time providing Sales Support and the other 50% in Warehousing.

Counter Sales and Customer Service

  • Greet and assist customers professionally

Warehouse

  • Hose Production (training provided)
  • Ship and receive from various companies
  • Pulling of sales & production orders
  • Customer interface (Will Calls)
  • Pick-up/Deliver material & parts as required
  • Organizes and restocks products in the store
  • Keeps store/warehouse clean and organized
  • Updates supervisor on the status of inventory, shipments, and deliveries
  • Operates forklift and other machinery needed to transport heavy items around the warehouse
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Sales Support

  • 2+ years of experience in Customer Service
  • Fluid Power experience a plus
  • Familiar with common office equipment (Printers, Copier, Fax, etc.)
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills
  • Self-starter who works well independently
  • Ability to prioritize given tasks and work efficiently towards completing them
  • Detail-orientated and exceptional organizational skills
  • Strong problem solver and analytical thinker
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Warehouse

  • Shipping & Receiving experience, desired
  • Can safely operate Saws and Forklifts
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Pays close attention to detail, a skill essential in identifying order discrepancies & product deficiencies
  • Problem Solving skills required
  • Able to lift 50+ pounds
  • Mechanical Aptitude
  • Exhibits effective communication skills
  • Must be able to multi-task and work efficiently
  • Able to work independently or in a team environment

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse equipment.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory management systems.
  • Experience with order fulfillment processes in a wholesale or retail setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying the accuracy of the order against shipping documents.
  • Organize and store products in designated warehouse areas, ensuring proper labeling and inventory management.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring that all items are accurately selected and securely packaged.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following safety protocols and reporting any hazards.
  • Assist with inventory counts and audits, providing accurate data to support inventory management efforts.

Skills:

The required skills for this position include physical stamina and attention to detail, which are essential for efficiently handling products and maintaining accurate inventory records. Strong organizational skills will help the Warehouse Associate manage the flow of goods and ensure that the warehouse remains orderly. Preferred skills, such as forklift operation and basic computer proficiency, will enhance the associate's ability to perform tasks more effectively and safely. Communication skills are also necessary, as associates must collaborate with team members and communicate any issues. A combination of these skills will contribute to a productive work environment and successful order fulfillment.

Working Conditions:

The workday is a standard 8 hours 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and it is spent in a store setting, standing for extended periods.



Compensation details: 18-21 Yearly Salary
