Action Mail , is a established, family-owned printing, mailing, and fulfillment company based in Escondido, California (San Diego area). We are looking for a
Warehouse and Production Supervisor to join our team.
The successful candidate will maintain inventory at our warehouse and manage a small production team. This will include receiving, issuing, and organizing materials and preparing and loading material daily on to trucks for delivery to clients.
Responsibilities: - Properly organize the warehouse to ensure all material is accessible, countable and identifiable.
- Pull material and load for daily deliveries.
- Review and document inventory counts to ensure accuracy within the warehouse.
- Complete auditable records: packing slips, pick lists and job close out paperwork.
- Fulfill orders, boxing and labeling.
- Use computer software system to issue and receive material
- Supervise a team of 2-4 people
- Set daily production schedules
- 40 hour week 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
Requirements: - Must be able to handle/lift materials weighing up to 50 lb.
- Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment
- Excellent attendance is crucial for the team to achieve success
- Ability to motivate and manage a team
- Familiarity with order entry and shipping software
- Ability to drive a 24 ft box truck and must possess a valid driver's license.
- Experience in operating forklifts, pallet jacks and shrink wrapper machines.
- Must have a forklift certificate.
- Must be able to pass a drug and background check
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
