USA Supplier Quality Engineer 2

Our client, a global energy technology leader, is seeking a Supplier Quality Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. As a Supplier Quality Manufacturing Engineer, you will be part of the Supplier Quality organization supporting Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Strategic Business teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, project management abilities, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Supplier Quality Manufacturing Engineer Location: Orlando, FL

Pay range: $68 to $73

What's the Job?
  • Lead Product and Process Qualification (PPQ) activities at supplier locations.
  • Manage and resolve supplier quality issues, including non-conforming components and corrective actions.
  • Conduct supplier audits to evaluate manufacturing capabilities and quality system compliance.
  • Investigate manufacturing and process capability issues to ensure supply chain continuity.
  • Drive supplier development, continuous improvement initiatives, and cost-reduction opportunities.
What's Needed?
  • 3-5 years of experience in Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • Technical education or degree in Quality, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems (ISO 9001), and Supplier Quality Management (SQM).
  • Experience interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T, with the ability to support manufacturability reviews.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% and effectively manage supplier relationships, audits, and quality investigations.
