Our client, a leading organization in the technical industry, is seeking a Sr Buyer to join their team. As a Sr Buyer, you will be part of the procurement department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, excellent analytical abilities, and a proactive approach which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range: Competitive

What's the Job?

  • Responsible for purchasing and negotiating materials, equipment, and supplies from vendors.
  • Evaluate vendor quotes and services to determine the most desirable suppliers.
  • Utilize experience and judgment to plan and accomplish procurement goals.
  • Perform a variety of complicated tasks requiring creativity and latitude.
  • Collaborate with executives or managers to align purchasing strategies with organizational objectives.

What's Needed?

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in purchasing or a related area.
  • Familiarity with a variety of procurement concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
