US - Chemistry Expert 2

Our client, a leading organization in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry, is seeking a US - Chemistry Expert 2 to join their team. As a US - Chemistry Expert 2, you will be part of the Quality Control Department supporting analytical testing and validation processes. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: US - Chemistry Expert 2

Location: Cleveland, OH

What's the Job?

  • Perform wet chemistry analysis including IR, pH, TLC-plates, and solubility testing
  • Operate and maintain HPLC instrumentation for analytical testing
  • Complete peer reviews of analytical data to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Draft and execute validation protocols, and write detailed reports for executed protocols
  • Act as a technical reviewer for protocols and reports, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Life Science with a minimum of 5 years of laboratory experience, or an Associate degree with at least 10 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with method validation and compendial testing (USP/EP/JP)
  • Proficiency in GMP laboratory practices and documentation standards
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple projects independently
  • Knowledge of computer software such as Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365
