Job Description: - Install, maintain, modify, and repair electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment.
- Bend and install EMT, PVC, IMC, and GRC up to 2".
- Troubleshoot electrical equipment and systems.
- Order and manage needed equipment and/or materials.
- Interact with and support Alamon team members from other divisions.
- Effectively communicate with all members of the project team.
- This position reports to the Energy Services Supervisor.
- The travel schedule will be 3 weeks traveling and 1 week home.
Minimum Position Qualifications: - Applicants are required to pass a pre-employment drug test, submit to a background check, and adhere to all OSHA, state, city and municipality safety requirements.
- Must have a clean driving record with no DUI or DWI in the last 5 years.
- Five or more years of experience in construction.
- Ability to travel out of town during the week or on weekends.
- Ability to lift and utilize heavy equipment safely.
- Able to lift 75 pounds.
- Must be able to keep up with the physical demands of the job.
- Must be comfortable with working at heights up to 500 feet.
- Willingness to work nights and weekends as required.
Work Environment: - The work environment includes active construction sites and environmentally controlled indoor sites. The employee may be subjected to noise levels which may range from low volume to loud and all employees will be required to wear provided safety hearing devices.
- This position requires working indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather scenarios including hot, cold, and in finished and occupied buildings.
- Must always wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in compliance with Company standards and governmental regulations.
Physical Demands: - Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds.
- The ability to climb ladders, bend, stoop, and work in awkward positions for several hours at a time is required.
- Must be able to work during inclement weather.
Travel Requirements: - Willingness to travel throughout the United States will be required based off of the needs of the project.
- Transportation and lodging are provided while traveling and working out of town for the Company.
Education and Experience: - Highschool Diploma or GED preferred.
- Possess and maintain a Journeyman License Preferred.
- Proficient knowledge of the National Electric Code.
- Experience with underground and site work.
- Experience with UPS, PV, EV Charging Stations, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Wireless, or a Central Office environment is preferred
- Five or more years of experience in construction.
