Transportation Supervisor

MENTOR Adult Day Health, a member of the Sevita family, provides day programs for elders with complex medical or rehabilitative needs. This allows seniors to obtain quality healthcare while remaining active and involved in the community and continuing to live in their own homes. Our programs are staffed with qualified, experienced licensed nurses and caregivers who are trained to provide individual assistance to each person we serve.

Location: Bom Dia Adult Day, Stoughton, MA
Salary: $41,600 annually (Full-Time, Salaried)

We are seeking a dependable and organized Transportation Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our transportation department and ensure the safe and efficient transport of our program participants.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the transportation department.

• Manage a team of drivers, including training, scheduling, and performance oversight.

• Coordinate and schedule daily transportation routes, ensuring timely pickup and drop-off of participants.

• Maintain compliance with DOT regulations, licensing, and inspections.

• Oversee vehicle maintenance, repairs, and service vendor relationships.

• Track transportation budgets, including fuel and maintenance expenses.

• Assist with participant transport when needed.

• Ensure participants' safety and comfort during transport.

• Recognize and report signs of abuse, neglect, or changes in participant condition to the supervising nurse.

• Support other program areas (activities, food service, etc.) as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a transportation or related supervisory role.

• Experience working with the elderly or individuals with disabilities strongly preferred.

• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record.

• CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).

• Recent Physical (within 12 months) and Annual TB Test.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs occasionally.

• Must pass CORI, drug/alcohol screening, and driver safety training.
