Competitive Pay: $22.50-$30.15/hr (depending on benefit package)

Location: LAXIT Parking lot, LAX terminals, or green line station, LOT E, ADA Assistance, Inter-Terminal Connections.

Hours: FT, multiple shifts available

Commercial Driver Requirements

• Valid CDL: Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License
• Endorsements: Airbrakes and Passenger Endorsement required
• Medical Certification: Current DOT Medical Certificate
• Minimum 2 years with a regular Class C license
• At least 6 months of recent Passenger Commercial Vehicle or Transit Driving experience
• Age Requirement: Must be 21 years or older
• DMV Record: K-4 DMV printout issued within the last 30 days
• Availability: Must have open availability (flexible schedule)
• Previous customer service, transportation, hospitality, or airport experience preferred.

Spirit of the Position:

The Transportation & Guest Services Ambassador is a customer-focused, frontline position
responsible for delivering exceptional passenger assistance, wayfinding, and operational
support within the LAX Ground Transportation and Automated People Mover (APM)
environment.
This role primarily functions as an on-site ambassador assisting guests and maintaining
safe, efficient passenger flow. The position is cross-trained and licensed to operate
shuttle buses and transitions into a driving role only during APM service disruptions,
emergencies, planned outages, or other contingency events requiring supplemental
transportation.
This dual-capacity role ensures continuity of airport operations while upholding LAZ
Parking's commitment to safety, professionalism, and a People First service culture.

Principle Job Duties:

• Safely operating company vehicles.
• G.E.T. 100 (Greet, Engage, and Thank the Guest - 100% of the time).
• Assist passengers when boarding and exiting the vehicle including ADA passengers, if applicable.
• Effectively communicating and working in a team environment to achieve maximum productivity.
• Demonstrate the ability to work self-sufficiently while performing daily tasks as a professional driver.

Requirements:

• 2 or more years with a California driver's license.
• Comply with Federal DOT, State and Local Rules/Regulations, and Company Policy.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License with proper endorsement(s).
• Valid Medical Card or ability to successfully perform and pass a DOT physical examination.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to physically push/pull/lift to 50lbs
• Ability to bend at the knees or squat frequently throughout a shift.
• Willingness to work in inclement weather (rain, sleet, snow, heat, high wind, etc.)
