Our client, a leader in the nutritional products industry, is seeking multiple Maintenance Mechanics to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the Maintenance and Facilities department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical and mechanical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully with the organization.

Job Title: Tour Maintenance Mechanic II

Location: Salt Lake City, Utah

Pay Range: $30-38/hr plus shift differential

What's the Job?

  • Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment to minimize downtime on production and support equipment.
  • Lead and support a team in maintaining production equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventative solutions to enhance equipment reliability.
  • Order parts and procure quotes for equipment modifications while adhering to budget constraints.
  • Document all maintenance activities and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

What's Needed?

  • 2-5 years experience in an industrial maintenance and manufacturing environment
  • Very strong electrical or mechanical skills with a solid understanding of both disciplines.
  • Excellent mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities for sophisticated electrical controls and mechanical systems.
  • Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and CMMS systems.
  • Ability to lift up to 55 pounds and perform physical tasks as required.
  • Experience in a KPI-focused environment and awareness of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
