Test Technician

Our client, an innovative leader in autonomous mobility technology, is seeking a Test Technician to join their team. As a Test Technician, you will be part of the Vehicle Operations Department supporting cross-functional teams including vehicle engineering, computer vision, infrastructure, and ride operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate discipline, teamwork, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Test Technician, QA

Location: Foster City, CA

Pay Range: $31 per hour

What's the Job?

  • Support vehicle operations by executing testing procedures and maintaining vehicle readiness
  • Conduct basic software operation tasks and assist with documentation and metrics collection
  • Analyze vehicle logs and test data using in-house tools to identify root causes of failures
  • Assist with defect management from recognition to resolution, including logging issues in JIRA
  • Execute mission prep procedures, including software deployment, configuration verification, and data capture

What's Needed?

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive mindset and resourcefulness with a safety-first attitude
  • Proficiency in JIRA/Confluence or Azure Dev Ops
  • At least 2 years of experience in complex testing or vehicle testing environments
  • Basic QA testing experience and proficiency with MS Office/Google Suites
