Job DetailsWe are seeking a versatile and customer-focused individual to join our team as either a Teller or a Universal Banker, depending on availability. The ideal candidate will be well-rounded, capable of handling Teller transactions, assisting with lending, and managing new deposit accounts. Given the minimal Teller traffic at this branch, we prefer a Universal Banker who can efficiently manage both Teller and additional banking responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
Teller Duties:
- Process customer deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments
- Issue cashier checks, money orders, and currency orders
- Maintain accurate transaction records and balance cash drawers
- Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries
Universal Banker Duties:
- Assist customers with opening new deposit accounts
- Support lending processes and provide information on loan products
- Perform Teller transactions as needed
- Promote and cross-sell bank products and services
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations and policies
Qualifications:
- Previous banking or customer service experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
