Reporting to the Director of Engineering, this position will support the CNC Programming team's efforts in developing and improving machining and programming processes for Swiss CNC manufacturing operations. This position will work closely with Engineering and Manufacturing to develop and advance machining processes for high-precision aerospace and defense components. Create CNC programs for Tsugami Swiss CNC machines using customer specifications, blueprints, and process documentation. Work independently with minimal direction from Supervisor.

Education & Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), and two years CNC machine operation and programming experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Basic knowledge of computers and programs, fundamentals of turning and milling, and applications related to such.
Ability to perform the duties of the job applying basic mathematics, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Preferred Skills:
Proficiency in one or more CAM applications (e.g. Mastercam, Camworks, etc)
Experience with 3-D modeling software (e.g. Solidworks, catia, etc)
Understanding of complex CNC programming tasks and latest tooling technology
Required Knowledge and Skills:
The employee must possess the ability to communicate effectively with all internal and external customers in both written and oral form.
