Job Function:

The Supply Chain Associate provides support in the Supply Chain Division by coordinating purchasing and planning activities. Manages manufacturing demands for make-to-stock or make-to-order items and finalizes work orders. Serves the business by delivering product and service information, assisting with complaints, handling orders, addressing account inquiries, invoicing, and other related tasks.

Reports to:

Production Manager - North America

Responsibilities and Objectives:

  • Conduct local purchasing and processes orders for set reorder points
  • Manage inventory levels and enter sales/work orders in SAP PL/MF
  • Ensure order accuracy and completeness
  • Communicate with Sales Administration / customer services regarding schedules and deliveries. Prioritize shipments and match purchase orders with open balances
  • Close work orders ensuring accurate documentation
  • Maintain communication with supply chain team. Update division-specific spreadsheets
  • Create and monitor production plans. Coordinate material management and utilize SAP PL/MF
  • Collaborate with production managers, purchasing, and warehouse management. Analyze and im- prove production processes
  • Inventory Monitoring and Troubleshooting
  • Troubleshoot production delays

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Business Administration / Production Management / Procurement or 2+ years relevant work experience
  • SAP PL/MF Preferred
  • Moderate to Advanced MS Excel and Word Skills

Physical Requirements:

  • Periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry objects
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times
  • Dexterity and accuracy as needed to operate equipment


Work schedule:

  • Willingness to travel as required both domestically and internationally (minimal planned travel)

This position will report to the Duncan, SC office Mon-Fri 8am-5pm.
