The Opportunity

As the Strategy and Analytics Partner , you don't just influence you architect the future of Lending and Banking within our Wealth Management platform. This role serves as a trusted partner to the Head of Lending and Banking, responsible for turning vision into execution, unlocking growth, and delivering measurable results. You will own the strategy, business performance, and data-driven decisions that will shape organizational priorities, drive operational excellence, and scale a high-impact profit center.

The Team

The Lending and Banking Services team is focused on providing proactive advice and planning to help meet client needs by delivering strategic borrowing solutions allowing advisors to strengthen their client's overall wealth management strategy. As a member of the Wealth Management organization, you will join a team of passionate experts across multiple disciplines including Product, Financial Planning, Practice Management, Lending & Banking, Trust, Investments and Operations. Whether it's advice on investment strategies, retirement planning, estate planning, lending and banking, or trust services, our goal is to provide innovative and effective solutions that positively impact advisors and clients. You will report to the Head of Lending and Banking Services and work with other product teams in the Wealth Management division in addition to partnering with vendors, banks, and enterprise partners supporting business owner products. The collaborative and dynamic team environment includes members with extensive background and experience in financial products and asset management.

The Impact

You will drive business growth, develop expertise and lead initiatives while working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve results and contribute to the organization's success. In your position, you will help enhance MassMutual Wealth Management Lending offerings and play an integral role on teams driving high-impact initiatives with a high degree of visibility.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Strategic Planning & Operational Leadership

  • Own the 3-5 year strategic roadmap. Identify high-impact growth opportunities, prioritize initiatives, and direct resources to maximize profitability and scalability.

  • Architect a best-in-class operating model: Implement structured governance, compliance frameworks, and rigorous business reviews and senior leadership presentations accelerating execution and accountability.

  • Convert market intelligence, internal data, and financial trends into sharp and actionable strategies.

  • Translate the big picture into tactical execution: Lead initiatives across lending products, referral programs, cash management, advisor enablement, and marketing including the adoption of new tools and systems.

  • Drive alignment across product, legal, compliance, technology, and operations to propel key initiatives.

  • Scale advisor distribution by enhancing engagement models, training enablement, and tool adoption turning advisors into lending advocates.

  • Leverage advisor feedback and satisfaction metrics to drive continuous improvements in products, processes, and digital experiences.

F inancial Performance & Analytics

  • Own the KPI framework: Define, track, and report on advisor adoption, revenue performance, and profitability ensuring absolute alignment with business goals.

  • Partner with Finance to build business cases, CBAs, ROI models, and P&L tracking across multiple revenue streams.

  • Lead enhancements to data architecture and reporting governance driving faster, more accurate decision-making through clean, consistent, real-time insights.

Market Intelligence & Growth Acceleration

  • Lead competitive intelligence: Benchmark peer products, pricing, partnerships, and distribution strategies to sharpen our competitive edge.

  • Conduct competitive research and monitor industry trends, regulatory shifts, and client needs to future-proof strategy and capture emerging opportunities.

  • Evaluate and assess potential strategic partnerships including fintech and banking partnerships to expand capabilities and value to the field.

The Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 5+ years' experience in a strategy, business operations, consulting, or product management role within wealth management, lending, banking, or fintech.

  • 2+ years of demonstrated ability to think strategically, connect solutions to business outcomes, and guide stakeholders through ambiguity.

  • 2+ years of experience delivering business updates to leadership, including crafting concise executive summaries for senior stakeholders.

  • 2+ years' experience leading strategic planning, business transformation, or product innovation that delivered measurable growth.

  • 1+ year of experience leveraging data including a familiarity with data analytics techniques and being able to analyze to draw out insights and implications

  • Due to the nature of this position, as a part of our background check process, candidates must be able to pass a non-registered fingerprint background check to qualify as a fingerprinted person under FINRA.

The Ideal Qualifications

  • Proficient in tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI); not expected to be a technical expert but comfortable working within a business intelligence ecosystem.

  • Strong understanding of how data and analytics support business operations, particularly within underwriting domains.

  • Exposure to business intelligence concepts such as KPIs vs metrics, data governance, or data literacy.

  • Master's in Business Administration.

  • FINRA Series 6, 7, or 24.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills and skilled at influencing senior leaders, aligning cross-functional teams, and translating strategy into results.

  • Track record of leading strategic planning, business transformation, or product innovation that delivered measurable growth.

  • Data-driven decision-maker with sharp analytical skills and a strong track record of operational execution.
