Strategic Sourcing Specialist

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and industrial sector, is seeking a Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist to join their team. As a Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist, you will be part of the Procurement Department supporting the Strategic Sourcing team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, strategic thinking, and collaborative skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist

Location:Tempe, AZ

Pay Range: $45-$63/hr plus OT and benefits

What's the Job?

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives
• Partner with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure sourcing alignment
• Identify, assess, and onboard suppliers; lead contract negotiations and relationship management
• Implement process improvements to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness
• Monitor market dynamics and industry trends to identify sourcing opportunities and mitigate risks

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, or Finance
• Demonstrated success in driving cost savings and improving supplier performance
• Strong project management and communication skills
• Proficiency in negotiation and contract management
• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence change
