In this role the candidate will be working with Test Engineers, Test Equipment Engineers, Operations and Strategy leads to develop modern, sustainable, common platform automated test solutions. Within the Andover factory the candidate may work in many different work centers collaborating on test roadmaps, common automation systems, capacity analysis in an effort to develop accurate Appropriation Requests (ARs) for Test Equipment. This position will be on site in Andover working with Test Engineering Technical Staff.
What You Will Do
Develop and manage capital funded test equipment projects
Maintain and update test station roadmaps
Continually investigate factory Test Equipment for obsolescence and capacity constraints to aid in test station roadmap development
Explore test automation techniques to drive efficiency in product test
Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and budget management
Ensure successful project execution by monitoring progress, addressing risks, and resolving issues promptly
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to procure necessary components and services for test equipment
Conduct regular project reviews and provide updates to stakeholders and senior management
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and 3 years related experience
Experience with test equipment design, maintenance, repair and/or use
Project management experience
Ability to collaborate with multiple organizations to meet factory test requirements
The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience with lean principles in a manufacturing environment
Preferred majors: Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering Technology
Current DOD Secret Security Clearance
Earned Value Systems Budget Management (EVMS)
Experience with proposal and/or project development
Experience with Estimates at Complete (EAC) development and management
Project schedule development
Skilled in risk identification and risk management
Strong engineering aptitude and analytical skills
Technical problem solving
Ability to work well and develop robust relationships with suppliers
Experience with material procurement
Verbal and written technical communication
Customer and company oriented and driven to meet or exceed expectations
Ability to maintain a professional attitude to serve as an example to the team and colleagues
Ability to work cohesively in a fast paced environment
Self-starter and able to manage personal and team workload
