Summary: The Planner is responsible for overseeing all planning activities to ensure successful delivery of the product. This position will be responsible for performing tasks and duties associated with product manufacture planning, including producing schedules, material lists, and production plans that include fabrication and assembly.

Requirements:
Demonstrated knowledge of materials planning system (MRP/ERP) requirements, purchase order and manufacturing order generation process logic, and inventory management practices.
Demonstrated understanding of Material Management operational concepts surrounding production planning, inventory control, purchasing, stockroom operation and shipping and receiving.
Familiarity with the procurement of raw materials, standards, parts, and commodities related to aircraft lavatory production.
Effective oral and written communications skills
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and assignments with attention to detail
Problem solving, well organized, detailed oriented and accurate
Ability to read and analyze engineering prints and drawings

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. 5+ years of production planning and/or material planning experience.

Physical Demands:
Stand or Sit: Must be able to remain in a stationary position (sitting) 50 percent or more of the time.
Walk: The person in this position needs to regularly move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Use hands/fingers to handle or feel: Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery (i.e., a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer) Repetitive movement is also required.
Climb (stairs/ladders) or balance: Occasionally ascends/descends stairs to assist other departments.
Stoop, Kneel, Crouch, or Crawl: The person in this position needs to use these positions to access file cabinets, drawers or other office.
