Our client, a leader in aerospace engineering and propulsion systems, is seeking a Sr Advanced Mechanical Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Sr Advanced Mechanical Engineer, you will be supporting the Engineering & Product Support department, contributing to innovative projects that shape the future of aerospace technology. Job Title: Sr Advanced Mechanical Engineer

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Pay Range: $55.77/hr

What's the Job?

• Design and analyze complex gas turbine engine rotor systems using advanced finite element methods
• Provide technical oversight and guidance to global engineering teams across different time zones
• Conduct static structural and fatigue analyses to ensure reliability and safety of aerospace turbomachine components
• Communicate technical findings effectively through reports and presentations to internal and external stakeholders
• Participate in design reviews, process improvements, and root cause analysis to enhance product performance

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years of experience performing static structural and fatigue analyses for aerospace turbomachine applications
• Proficiency in linear static, nonlinear/elasto-plastic, fatigue (HCF & LCF), modal, shock, harmonic, random vibration, and crack growth analyses
• Strong working knowledge of ANSYS finite element software and classical hand calculation methods
• Excellent communication skills in English to deliver technical reports and presentations clearly and efficiently
