Dynamic Equipment Group is looking for a Full Time Shop Foreman to provide expert technical leadership, help develop our team of technicians, and keep operations running at peak performance for our shop in Tampa.

What You'll Do

This role provides technical leadership within the service department while continuing to contribute as a skilled technician. You will mentor others, support troubleshooting efforts, liaise between team members and customers, and help the department meet performance goals. Key responsibilities include:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain electric, diesel, and gasoline-powered industrial and heavy equipment
• Act as a technical leader, training and mentoring technicians
• Assist the Service Manager in achieving goals around revenue, profit, rework reduction, and safety
• Serve as point of contact between technicians, service administrators, and clients
• Document work accurately and clearly finalize work orders
• Conduct safety meetings, and enforce safety practices
• Interpret technical documents and schematics for complex diagnostics
• Perform performance testing and ensure equipment meets operational standards
• Support housekeeping, shop organization, and tool maintenance

What You'll Bring To The Table

To perform this job successfully, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of related experience and/or training in equipment service or repair
• Associate degree or technical diploma from a two-year college or trade school is a plus
• Valid driver's license and Forklift Certification required
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, service manuals, and technical documentation
• Ability to write reports, complete service logs, and communicate with customers and team members
• Strong math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide; work with decimals and percentages)
• Sound reasoning skills to handle diagnostic challenges and problem-solving in the field
• Comfortable presenting or speaking in front of groups of customers or team members

Preferred Skills:

• Welding, fabrication, or hydraulic system experience
• Prior leadership experience as a Foreman, Lead Technician, or Senior Mechanic
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and heavy equipment regulations

Successful candidate must consent to a drug test and pass a background check upon accepting this position prior to their start date.
