WAREHOUSE UTILITY WORKER
Warehouse Utility Worker is a key member of the Shipping/Receiving team. They will learn each of the other positions over time to handle peak demand and also provide the versatility needed to keep the department running efficiently. This position involves both computer and hands-on activities to assist with preparing, moving, and loading finished products, while also maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
Pack/palletize/wrap products for safe shipment.Label packages with shipping information and secure items on pallets.Load and unload trucks using manual or powered equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts.Assist in staging orders, pulling products from inventory, and organizing the shipping area.Perform basic receiving tasks, such as unloading incoming materials and stocking shelves.Maintain cleanliness in the shipping/receiving area, including sweeping, trash removal, and general housekeeping.Support inventory tasks like basic counting, reorganizing stock, or assisting with cycle counts.Follow safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).Perform other general labor duties as assigned, such as minor assembly support or helping in production during downtime.
Required Skills and Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred but not always required.Warehouse or manufacturing experience is a plus but not required.Physical stamina to lift 50 lbs, stand/walk for extended periods, bend, and reach.Basic ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment.Willing and able to pass the forklift certification we provide.Reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced setting.Knowledge of basic safety practices; attention to detail for accurate packing.
