What You'll Do:


As the Shipping & Receiving Supervisor, you'll oversee daily shipping and receiving operations while working directly with the team to meet production schedules and delivery expectations.

You'll manage both domestic and international shipments, coordinate through customer shipping portals, and ensure compliance with all shipping regulations.

This role also includes managing a small team, identifying process improvements, and collaborating across departments to get the job done right and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and work side by side with our small shipping & receiving team in day-to-day activities
  • Handle both national and international shipments, including documentation and customs compliance
  • Use customer portals to schedule, track, and manage shipments
  • Work alongside the team to ensure accuracy and timeliness
  • Coordinate with carriers, customers, and internal departments
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
  • Monitor inventory movement and system accuracy
  • Identify ways to streamline processes and reduce costs

What You Bring:

  • 5+ years of shipping/receiving experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role
  • Strong background in both domestic and international shipping
  • Experience with customer shipping portals and ERP systems
  • A hands-on approach with the ability to lead by example
  • Strong communication skills and a sense of urgency
  • Ability to prioritize and problem-solve in a dynamic environment
  • Forklift certification is a plus
