Shipping and Receiving Supervisor

Location: Braintree, MA

The Shipping / Receiving Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing the shipping and receiving department, ensuring that all incoming shipments are processed efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate will have experience in shipping and receiving operations, as well as familiarity with e-commerce processes.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and package orders for shipment

Ensure all orders ship on time, with correct products, properly packaged to protect product in transit, and is sent to the correct customer

Assist in the maintenance of all inventories in the stockroom and on the selling floor.

Addresses any discrepancies or issues related to received goods promptly and effectively.

Implements best practices for inventory management, including proper storage and organization of received goods.

Unpack merchandise, verify product and quantity is correct

Participate in all inventories.

Other duties assigned by manager.

Previous shipping and receiving experience preferred

Must be able to lift 50 lbs frequently and occasionally over 50lbs with a two-person lift

Ability to climb, squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, twist, reach, lift, grasp, push and pull on a frequent basis.

Ability to stand/walk for the entire scheduled shift.

Strong sense of time organization and urgency

Experience using a computer and handheld devices.

Must be able to work a retail schedule of nights and weekends.

Must be at least 16 years of age.
