JOB DESCRIPTION:
Clark Roofing Company is seeking an experienced Commercial Architectural Sheet Metal Worker to join our team. In this role you will fabricate, install, and finish architectural sheet metal systems on commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings across the Chicagoland area. You will work alongside our roofing crews and project teams to deliver precise, high-quality sheet metal work that meets the most demanding project specifications.
Responsibilities include:
??? Fabricate, install, and repair architectural sheet metal components including copings, gutters, downspouts, flashings, fascias, soffits, gravel stops, expansion joints, and custom trim pieces
??? Install sheet metal roofing systems including standing seam, batten seam, and flat seam applications
??? Read and interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, and project specifications
??? Perform precise layout, cutting, forming, and soldering of sheet metal materials
??? Work with a variety of metals including galvanized steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper, and zinc
??? Coordinate with roofing crews to ensure proper integration of sheet metal and roofing systems
??? Identify and communicate field conditions, deficiencies, and coordination issues to the superintendent
??? Maintain a clean, safe, and professional job site at all times
??? Assist in training and mentoring less experienced team members
QUALIFICATIONS:
??? 2+ years of experience in commercial architectural sheet metal fabrication and installation
??? Proficiency in fabricating and installing copings, flashings, gutters, downspouts, and custom sheet metal components
??? Experience with standing seam, batten seam, or flat seam metal roofing systems is a plus
??? Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and shop drawings
??? Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal fabrication equipment
??? Experience with soldering, seaming, and metal forming techniques
??? Ability to lift 50-75 lbs and work at heights in various weather conditions
??? Strong attention to detail, craftsmanship, and commitment to quality
??? Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
??? Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork

En este puesto fabricar??s, instalar??s y terminar??s sistemas de l??mina met??lica arquitect??nica en edificios comerciales, industriales e institucionales en toda el ??rea de Chicago. Trabajar??s junto a nuestras cuadrillas de techado y equipos de proyecto para entregar trabajo de l??mina met??lica preciso y de alta calidad que cumpla con las especificaciones de proyecto m??s exigentes.
Responsabilidades incluyen:
??? Fabricar, instalar y reparar componentes arquitect??nicos de l??mina met??lica incluyendo copetes, canaletas, bajantes, tapajuntas, fascias, plafones, parapetos, juntas de expansi??n y piezas de acabado personalizadas
??? Instalar sistemas de techado de l??mina met??lica incluyendo paneles de costura alzada, costura de listel y costura plana
??? Leer e interpretar planos arquitect??nicos, planos de taller y especificaciones del proyecto
??? Realizar trazado preciso, corte, formado y soldadura de materiales de l??mina met??lica
??? Trabajar con una variedad de metales incluyendo acero galvanizado, acero inoxidable, aluminio, cobre y zinc
??? Coordinar con las cuadrillas de techado para asegurar la correcta integraci??n de los sistemas de l??mina met??lica y techado
??? Identificar y comunicar condiciones en campo, deficiencias y problemas de coordinaci??n al superintendente
??? Mantener el sitio de trabajo limpio, seguro y profesional en todo momento
??? Ayudar en la capacitaci??n y orientaci??n de miembros menos experimentados del equipo
REQUISITOS:
??? 2+ a??os de experiencia en fabricaci??n e instalaci??n de l??mina met??lica arquitect??nica comercial
??? Dominio en la fabricaci??n e instalaci??n de copetes, tapajuntas, canaletas, bajantes y componentes personalizados de l??mina met??lica
??? Experiencia con sistemas de techado de costura alzada, costura de listel o costura plana es una ventaja
??? Capacidad para leer e interpretar planos arquitect??nicos y planos de taller
??? Dominio de herramientas manuales, el??ctricas y equipos de fabricaci??n de l??mina met??lica
??? Experiencia con t??cnicas de soldadura, costura y formado de metal
??? Capacidad para levantar 50-75 lbs y trabajar en alturas en diversas condiciones clim??ticas
