About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Production Engineer with a strong background in electronic or electro-mechanical manufacturing to lead our production engineering processes, documentation, and improvement initiatives.

In this role, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing workflows, enhance product quality, and introduce new products efficiently. You'll be instrumental in refining our engineering documentation, troubleshooting production challenges, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Production Engineering Efforts - Oversee engineering documentation, manufacturing processes, and part number databases.

Drive Process Improvements - Work with the Director of Engineering and Production Team to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Develop & Maintain Documentation - Create BOMs, Manufacturing Routers, Inspection & Test Procedures, SOPs, Drawings, and more.

Support Cross-Functional Teams - Collaborate with Sales, Technical Support, and Quality Teams to address production challenges.

Ensure Quality & Compliance - Review and approve engineering changes, non-compliant materials, and corrective action reports.

Project Management - Prioritize and track engineering tasks, ensuring deadlines and company goals are met.

ERP & Document Control Management - Maintain NetSuite ERP and M-Files for efficient production tracking and part number management.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in electronics or electro-mechanical manufacturing.
  • Expertise in engineering process optimization and documentation.
  • Project management experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Corel Draw preferred).
  • Experience with industrial control systems, PLCs, HMIs (a plus).
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience).

Work Environment & Physical Demands

This role is on-site in a standard office setting within our manufacturing facility.
You'll be working with desktop business equipment, frequently communicating across teams, and handling engineering documents. No remote work currently.
