Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is hiring for a Senior Manufacturing Manager (Level L) to join the St. Louis Delivery Center operations located in Berkeley, MO!

Position Responsibilities:

• Manages employees and first-level managers performing activities within multiple manufacturing disciplines.
• Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals and objectives.
• Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
• Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 5+ years of experience working in a manufacturing and flight operations environment
• 5+ years of experience working with collective bargaining agreements and/or union-represented workforce
• 3+ years of experience in a leadership role leading diverse teams, initiatives, or projects to meet business objectives and influence change
• 1+ years of experience in lean processes and initiatives

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor's Degree or higher
• DCMA engagement experience
• Leadership experience in aircraft manufacturing operations
• Experience in leading large scale / organizational change
• Excellent people skills (coaching / teaching / integrating functions towards a common goal)
• Boeing Problem Solving Model Experience

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $124,950 - 169,050 USD

Security Clearance
