Senior Financial Manager - Client Accounts

Job Summary

The Senior Financial Manager - Client Account Operations is responsible for managing and enhancing the financial operations associated with client accounts. Reporting to the Senior Director of Finance, this role leads monthly financial processes, oversees reporting accuracy, drives operational improvements, and provides leadership for a client-focused financial operations team. This individual ensures the effective execution of monthly financial deliverables and serves as a key liaison between internal departments and external client partners.

Key Responsibilities

??? Oversee and monitor all aspects of monthly financial operations related to client accounts.

??? Ensure the accurate and timely processing of client financial transactions, reconciliations, and reports.

??? Serve as the primary point of contact for client-facing financial matters, offering responsive, high-quality service.

??? Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and standardization across financial account operations.

??? Deliver monthly reporting packages and analytics to brokers, clients, carriers, and internal leadership.

??? Collaborate with internal departments to resolve client account issues and drive operational solutions.

??? Train, and mentor financial operations team members to support account-related responsibilities.

??? Conduct annual performance reviews and support staff development in alignment with organizational goals.

??? Contribute to company-wide projects, providing insight and representation from the finance team.




Qualifications

??? Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline preferred; equivalent experience considered.

??? 5-7 years' experience in financial/accounting operations, preferably in a client account or third-party administrator setting.

??? Demonstrated leadership experience managing a team and coordinating cross-functional processes.

??? Strong analytical, technical, and interpersonal communication skills.

??? Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

??? Experience with financial software (Great Plains) preferred.

??? Ability to prioritize, manage multiple timelines, and adapt to change while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

??? Ability to lift up to 30 pounds on an occasional basis.
