As a key technical contributor to New Product Development, NPD engineer for Commercial Faucets is uniquely positioned to identify and drive innovations and user experiences. If you are the type of engineer who likes to get into the details of a design, but also craves the understanding of how your work fits into the larger picture, this position is for you. Working in highly cross-functional teams, you will design and validate parts, assemblies, and systems that delight consumers. Driving speed and quality of product launches will directly contribute to Kohler's leadership in the global kitchen and bath industry.
The New Product Development Engineer for Commercial Faucets applies core engineering principles and structured problem-solving to deliver high-quality designs, conducts feasibility analyses, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to launch innovative products efficiently. The role leverages global technical resources, promotes sustainability through design evaluation and improvement recommendations, and engages with customers and experts to enhance product quality. Attention to detail is crucial, as the engineer coordinates testing, manages documentation such as bills of materials and timelines, and facilitates technical communications to ensure successful product launches.
