Senior Electrical Engineer
Our Electrical Engineering team puts the spark into the full hardware development lifecycle, from concept to production. It takes experts in system architecture definition, design, analysis, prototyping, sourcing & the debugging and validation of layouts or routes to deliver state-of-the-art products for a changing world. We work closely with designers, cross-functional teams within Dell Technologies and suppliers to make sure electronic designs meet a range of requirements, including schedule, feature set, functionality and quality, as well as industry standards.

What you'll achieve
As a Principal Electrical Engineer - Graphics Engineering, you will be responsible for the development and sustaining of Graphics solutions across multiple Dell Client product lines. You will provide engineering and technical program management of Dell client graphics programs. This role exists within the Graphics Engineering team within the Client Product Group which is responsible for the engineering development and sustaining of all integrated and add-in graphics cards.
You will:
Partners with Dell internal platform and graphics development engineering teams to manage onboard and add-in graphics program deliverables
Works with multiple internal teams including product quality, platform engineering, product marketing, program management, regulatory engineering, security, and other teams to debug/ resolve issues
Manage resources at external suppliers including AMD, Nvidia, Intel, and platform ODM (original design manufacturer) partners to facilitate debugging and resolution of issues and delivery of graphics controllers
Subject matter expert in graphics controllers, graphics drivers & firmware, and OS (operating system) application interaction with graphics devices
Guides graphics technology providers and ODM partners on debug and resolution of hardware, software, and firmware issues with graphics controller cards

Essential Requirements
5+ years industry experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 3+ years' experience with a Master's Degree (Dell experience is a plus).
Technical Leadership experience
Experience with management of suppliers and technology partners to drive for quick resolution to customer issues
Knowledge of and familiarity with the ODM development model
Proactive attitude to issue resolution and engagement with peer and global teams to quickly resolve issues
Desirable Requirements
Engineering or Computer Science degree, preference for depth of knowledge in electrical or computer engineering
Compensation
Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is $107,100 - $138,600.
