Senior Controller

Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking an Interim Senior Controller to provide corporate accounting and SEC reporting support. This role is expected to begin as soon as possible and continue through April, with potential for extension. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Job Title: Senior Controller
Location: Hybrid in Denver, CO (3 days onsite; fully onsite during initial 2-3 weeks).
Pay Rate: $75-$125/hour (W2, based on experience).

What's the Job?

• Execute year end accounting close activities.
• Support SEC reporting deliverables, including the 10 K and potentially the 10 Q, as well as restatement efforts.
• Coordinate drafting activities and deliverables related to the proxy statement.
• Support implementation and validation of the NetSuite cost accounting module.
• Partner with operations on standard costing, variance analysis, and cost accounting processes.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate accounting, technical accounting, and SEC reporting within the manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing environments, cost accounting, and standard costing methodologies.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, with proficiency in NetSuite-particularly within cost accounting-strongly preferred.
