Position Summary:

Support strategies to help drive increased profitability, process efficiency, reduced costs and overall business improvement. Partner with leadership to deliver financial and strategic results through utilization of Financial Planning & Analysis best practices. Support corporate FP&A processes, initiatives and reporting within the function.

Responsibilities:

  • Create reporting and communicate insight for leadership team including metric development (Financial Business Partner of the Technology Leadership Team)
    • Provide variance insight into financial results for Corporate FP&A and identify trends, risk and make suggestions for opportunities
    • Support building of Sysco's long-term Technology Roadmap, annual budget, and monthly and quarterly reporting, and long range plan for operating expense and capital investments
    • Partner with several different teams to ensure Budget, Forecast and Actuals are in-line
    • Involved with monthly Accounting Close
    • Provide day-to-day and long-term financial thought to Technology leaders by supporting monthly/quarterly business review processes
    • Perform ad-hoc analytics and financial modeling
    • Provide Analytical support for major investment decisions
    • Enhance, implement, and enforce policies, procedures and reports to improve the overall operation and effectiveness
    • Provide technical financial advice, knowledge, and methods of continual improvement
    • Support leadership in build and tracking of business cases for technology projects and initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree required; Masters Degree preferred. Specialization in Finance, Accounting, or Business is required
  • Minimum at least 4 years of work experience in a corporate setting, with emphasis on areas such as reporting variances, financial planning and analysis, business analytics, and financial modeling
  • Experience with SAP BPC is preferred
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLookups, Pivot Tables, SumIfs, etc) and ability to manipulate and query large data sets.
  • Able to perform quantitative analysis using appropriate analytical tools.
  • Strong communication skills, able to independently structure and develop PowerPoint presentations and other business documents for executive audiences

This position is Hybrid: in office at the Corporate office Mon-Wed and remote Thur-Fri.
