Minimum Requirements: - Must have valid Active TWIC Card in hand (Receipts are NOT accepted)
- Must have valid Active Driver License (NOT Expired, Suspended, Etc.)
- Ability to obtain a copy of your High School Diploma, GED or Transcript.
- Customer Service Experience.
- Security experience recommended but not required.
- Willing to submit a pre-employment drug screen.
- Must be available to work Days, Nights, Weekends & Holidays.
- Ability to stand, sit or walk for long periods.
- Ability to lift 10lbs if needed.
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (Heat, Cold, Rain, Etc.)
- Ability and willingness to work in a refinery setting.
- Ability and willingness to follow all safety requirements.
- Knowledge in working with computers and ability to learn new programs.
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Ability to present written reports and other daily documentation as needed.
- Excellent Observation skills.
We are looking for a competent Security Officer to undertake the surveillance of our premises and protection of our staff and visitors. You will be responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, theft, or other criminal behavior. A security officer must be well-trained in surveillance and dealing with perpetrators. The ideal candidate will inspire respect and authority as well as possess a high level of observation. The goal is to help the company in maintaining excellent working conditions by keeping our facilities safe and problem-free.
ResponsibilitiesJob responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:
- Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence.
- Monitor and inspect the entrance of vehicles entering and exiting the facility
- Document all personnel entering and exiting the facility.
- Check all personnel credentials that are entering the facility
- Secure all gates, doors, windows, Etc.
- Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts
- Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation
- Provide assistance to client personnel if needed
- Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences
- Complete DAR (Daily Activity Report) daily
