Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure OSHA compliance through regular audits, process evaluations, and training.
- Foster strong working relationships across all levels of personnel.
- Engage with the workforce on the floor (minimum 30% per day) to promote safety awareness.
- Maintain up-to-date OSHA, Environmental, and Safety documentation.
- Conduct thorough incident investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Manage Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for all facility items.
- Perform environmental and safety audits.
- Ensure comprehensive compliance with environmental regulations (air, water, and waste).
- Implement an effective environmental management system.
- Develop and conduct training materials to comply with OSHA and environmental regulations.
Qualifications:
- Education: BS degree in Industrial Safety, Environmental Sciences, or a related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. CSP preferred but not required.
- Experience:At least two years of safety and environmental experience in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of applicable Environmental and OSHA regulations.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong problem-solving and listening skills. Willingness to work off shifts for training and investigations. Proficiency in MS Office 365. Ability to lead teams in a union environment.

Experience Required
- Knowledge of applicable Environmental and OSHA regulations.
- 2 year(s): Safety and Environmental experience in a manufacturing environment.
Education Preferred
- Bachelors or better in Manufacturing Technology or related field
