Job Responsibilities
- Install HVAC trim components including grills, registers, and diffusers.
- Install zone boards, thermostats, and vent hoods.
- Low voltage wiring and refrigerant piping.
- Ensure proper alignment and secure attachment of trim elements.
- Collaborate with installation team to ensure all trim out tasks are completed on schedule.
- Inspect and test HVAC trims for operational efficiency and adherence to company standards.
- Make necessary adjustments to trims for optimal airflow and aesthetic appearance.
- Interpret and follow blueprints, schematics, and detailed instructions for trim installations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area during and after completion of trim out tasks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to HVAC trim installations.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Communicate effectively with project managers and clients regarding progress and any issues encountered.
- Document completed work and any modifications made during the trim out process.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Completion of an HVAC apprenticeship program or equivalent experience.
- Valid HVAC technician certification or license as required by local regulations.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in HVAC installation, with specific experience in trim-out processes.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Ability to install and connect HVAC components, including thermostats, grills, registers, and diffusers.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, including ductwork, piping, and electrical connections.
- Skilled in using various hand and power tools relevant to HVAC installation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with other trades and clients.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Commitment to safety protocols and adherence to industry standards.
- Flexibility to work overtime or on weekends if required.
Pay Range: 20-25 / Hour
Compensation details: 20-25 Hourly Wage
