Job Details

We're looking for a self-starter who excels at managing teams and timelines, and is ready to take ownership of projects from concept to completion. As the Civil Project Manager you will oversee the planning, design, permitting, and execution of civil infrastructure for residential development projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, project management, and municipal coordination, with a particular focus on site development
and land entitlement processes, including obtaining signed plats.

Key Responsibilities:
? Manage all phases of residential land development projects including grading, drainage,
utilities, paving, and erosion control.
? Coordinate with engineers, surveyors, land planners, and municipal staff to ensure timely
approvals and permits.
? Oversee the preparation, submittal, and tracking of plats, including securing signatures
from municipal or county officials to ensure recorded documents meet project timelines.
? Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and milestone tracking.
? Review and approve civil drawings, construction documents, and site plans.
? Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
? Lead pre-construction meetings and facilitate weekly progress meetings.
? Monitor construction progress and perform site inspections to verify conformance to
plans and specifications.
? Manage utility coordination, inspections, and punch-list closeout processes.
? Act as the primary point of contact with city/county planning departments, public works,
and utility providers.
? Prepare and deliver regular status updates to senior management and stakeholders.
? Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting.

Qualifications:
? Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
? Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
? 5+ years of experience in residential land development or civil infrastructure projects.
? Proven ability to manage entitlement processes including plat approvals and municipal
coordination.
? Strong understanding of civil site design, permitting, and construction practices.
? Proficient in project management and civil design software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, MS
Project, Procore).
? Excellent organizational, negotiation, and communication skills.
? Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.

Working Conditions:
? Office-based with regular travel to job sites and local government offices.
? Some evening or weekend work may be required during critical project phases.
? Must be able to walk construction sites and attend public or agency meetings as needed.
