Position Overview We're looking for a
Rental Coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly. In this hands-on role, you'll manage daily rental logistics, coordinate vehicle staging, and support dispatch operations - all while providing top-notch customer service.
What You'll Do - Review and stage vehicles based on rental schedules
- Coordinate pickup and delivery with customers and internal departments
- Prepare contracts and paperwork for digital or physical signatures
- Use dispatch software to assign drivers and optimize delivery routes
- Confirm logistics with customers and drivers prior to dispatch
- Process returned vehicles and verify against original contracts
- Maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems
- In charge of processing assigned monthly reports within deadline
- Keep rental and sales lots clean, organized, and accessible
- Assist in receiving new units and inspecting for damage or discrepancies
- Manage charging/fueling schedule for electric and gas vehicles
- Help load/unload vehicles and ensure safety protocols are followed
- Answer phones and assist walk-in customers professionally
- Serve as backup support for the Front Office Coordinator and Porter
- Assist with various task as assigned
What We're Looking For Strong time management and multitasking skills
Basic mechanical aptitude & proficiency with basic math
Strong knowledge of the Greater Houston and surrounding areas
Fluent in English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus
Forklift certified or able to get certified
Clean background check and drug screening
Physical Requirements - Ability to work outdoors in varying weather
- Must lift/move up to 100 lbs.
- Frequent bending, walking, and climbing
- Flexible availability (including weekends and holidays, as needed)
