Quality Technician

Our client, a leading innovator in the automotive manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join their dynamic team. As a Quality Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the Manufacturing Engineering department and collaborating cross-functionally with Vehicle Engineering, Corporate Quality, and Supplier Quality teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will enable you to thrive in this innovative environment.

Pay Range:$42

What's the Job?

• Support the Manufacturing Engineering team by performing root cause analysis on vehicles and recording findings.
• Read technical drawings and CAD models to understand part design and assembly processes.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to facilitate troubleshooting and problem resolution.
• Develop and document troubleshooting techniques and quality procedures.
• Create and update quality documents, including training plans for inspection standards and quality alerts.

What's Needed?

• Associates Degree with 4-6 years of experience as a quality technician or HS Diploma/GED with 6-8 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to read technical drawings and understand CAD models.
• Broad technical background in mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience performing root cause analysis and working with PFMEA and Control Plans.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
