Our client, a leading organization in the technology and software development sector, is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineering II- to join their team. As a Quality Assurance Engineering II-, you will be part of the Quality Assurance Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, proactive communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

  • Help reduce risk and ensure the delivery of high-quality software applications through comprehensive testing activities.
  • Collaborate with Technical and Business groups to define testing scope and requirements.
  • Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and scripts for application, network, system, regression, and user acceptance testing.
  • Lead and participate in test planning, quality review sessions, and project coordination efforts.
  • Perform technical testing activities including scripting, debugging, and reporting, while researching new tools and testing approaches to improve processes.

What's Needed?

  • At least 5 years of experience testing on mainframe, midrange, and API applications.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience and/or certifications.
  • Proficiency in SQL for test data creation and verification.
  • Experience with test case development and execution tools such as Jira Test Management and Azure DevOps.
  • Knowledge of information systems elements (hardware, software, network) and their application to business functions and processes.
