Job DetailsKey Responsibilities and Duties
- Serve as the Contractor's designated CQC System Manager on all active project sites
- Ensure full compliance with contract quality control requirements
- Be present onsite at all times during construction activities
- Coordinate and document quality control activities and inspections
- Interface with Contracting Officer and government inspectors
- Lead and manage CQC reporting, deficiency resolution, and corrective action tracking
- Conduct preparatory, initial, and follow-up inspections
- Maintain and organize all QC records and submittals
- Identify and mitigate non-conformances and enforce contract compliance
- Ensure that no other duties interfere with primary quality control responsibilities
Qualifications - Needed
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management from an ABET-accredited institution
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a CQC System Manager or Alternate CQC Manager on construction projects of similar scope
- Strong knowledge of government construction specifications and QC protocols
- Ability to be physically onsite during all construction work
- Not assigned to other duties by the contractor
- Experience coordinating with government officials or military base personnel preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
