We are seeking a skilled Multi-Line Claims Adjuster with expertise in Property claim handling to join our team. If you're an experienced adjuster who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving complex claims while delivering exceptional customer service, this opportunity is for you!

This is a remote position and requires a home office space and high-speed internet.

Key Responsibilities:

Investigate & Evaluate Claims

• Gather statements, research policy terms, and assess coverage, limitations, and exclusions.
• Conduct thorough investigations to ensure fair claim resolutions.
• Set appropriate reserves and document findings effectively.

Manage & Resolve Claims

• Work closely with policyholders, agents, and third parties to coordinate claims.
• Apply strong negotiation skills to reach fair and prompt settlements.
• Interpret Personal and Commercial insurance policies to determine liability and coverage.
• Provide clear, professional communication to all stakeholders.

Ensure Compliance & Professional Growth

• Stay current with evolving legal statutes and policy conditions across multiple states.
• Maintain continuing education and licensing requirements.
• Adapt to changing technology in the paperless Claims Management System.
• Attend legal proceedings (depositions, mediations, trials) as necessary.

Required Experience & Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in Property claims adjusting.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).
• Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple claims.
• Experience in multi-state claims adjusting is a plus.

Education & Certifications (Preferred, Not Required):

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• AIC, CPCU, or other industry certifications.

Standard 40-hour workweek (Monday - Friday) with potential work beyond standard hours during high claim volumes.
Sedentary role with prolonged computer work-dexterity for keyboard/mouse required.
Travel as needed for depositions, mediations, or training.
