Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Project Manager-Multifamily, you will be responsible for:
1. Leading and managing the construction of multifamily and commercial projects from inception to completion.
2. Coordinating and overseeing the work of construction teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications.
3. Developing and implementing project plans, including defining project scope, setting project timelines, and managing project costs.
4. Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure project objectives are met.
5. Conducting regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure quality standards are met.
6. Resolving any issues or problems that arise during the construction process.
7. Preparing and presenting project reports to stakeholders, including progress updates, budget reports, and risk assessments.
8. Ensuring all work complies with relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Project Manager-Multifamily position should have:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, specifically in multifamily and commercial projects.
2. Proven experience with Podium, Podium mixed use, stick frame, Condominium, and Commercial Projects.
3. A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
4. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve project goals.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues promptly.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
7. Proficiency in project management software and other relevant computer applications.
8. A strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
9. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
10. A commitment to safety, ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with safety standards and regulations.
