As a Production Worker (Fish Trimmer), you will play a key role on the assembly line, preparing high-quality smoked salmon products by trimming, inspecting, and handling fish according to company and food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities - Trim and portion smoked salmon fillets with precision using knives and other tools
- Inspect fish for quality, removing bones, skin, and imperfections
- Maintain consistent production speed while ensuring product quality
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures
- Work collaboratively with team members on a fast-paced assembly line
- Keep workstations clean and organized
- Adhere to workplace safety guidelines and proper equipment handling
- Ability to handle raw fish and work in a cold, wet environment
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Comfortable standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks
