ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

Supervise and coordinate the training activities of all personnel in assigned departments.

Direct and motivate the manufacturing work force to produce product of high quality in the most efficient and safe manner.

Ensure that scheduling meets business and customer requirements.

Ensure safety through good housekeeping practices.

Achieve Efficiency, Scrap and Set up objectives.

Maintain daily attendance through ADP payroll system.

Maintain discipline on shop floor.

Perform annual reviews.

Other duties may be assigned.


SUPERISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position supervises approximately 30 employees. Must follow company policies and procedures


EDUCATION and or EXPERIENCE

Graduation from high school or GED preferably supplemented by an associate degree in mechanical/industrial technology. Three experience Supervising in a manufacturing environment.

Thorough knowledge of machines and maintenance requirements, ability to read/interpret blueprints; ability to follow schedules; knowledge of and ability to apply quality control standards, safety requirements, provisions of the company rules; ability to overcome immediate and long range problems; ability to communicate effectively; ability to provide leadership and employ strong human relation skills.


LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulation. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public.


MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

High school plus some post high school math or shop math.


REASONING ABILITY

Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
