POSITION SUMMARY
We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Manager at our Wausau, WI facility. Reporting to the Assistant Plant Manager, this role is responsible for the safe and efficient oversight of multiple areas and departments across multiple shifts. Required hours are 5pm-5am, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Safety
- Actively participate in the facility's safety program.
- Identify, report, and correct unsafe behaviors.
- Collaborate with facility leadership to maintain a safe work environment.
- Ensure EHS policies and guidelines are met within the department.
- Coach, train, and monitor employee performance on safety protocols.
Operations & Leadership
- Manage assigned departments across all shifts.
- Maintain housekeeping, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Production Scheduler to meet production requirements and close identified gaps.
- Ensure teams follow established fabrication plans and contribute to process improvements.
- Lead by example in communicating company policies and expectations.
- Plan labor and workflow to ensure efficient execution.
- Execute schedules with urgency and attention to safety, quality, timeliness, and cost.
- Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate leads and team members.
- Provide clear direction, feedback, and corrective action when necessary.
- Maintain required project documentation.
- Engage employees regularly, encouraging input for problem-solving.
- Participate in facility hiring processes.
