Production Level 6 - 2nd Shift Job Title: Flex Crew Job Summary: Provides essential support across multiple departments and functions as needed. Demonstrates adaptability, resourcefulness, and the ability to quickly learn new tasks to ensure smooth daily operations. Cross-trained on various stations and production lines to assist the team in meeting daily performance goals and production metrics. Benefits & Perks:

Essential Functions - Responsibilities
  • Multi-Departmental Support: Provides support across multiple departments to help teams meet operational goals.
  • Adaptability: Quickly learns and adapts to new processes, tasks, and responsibilities.
  • Project Assistance: Assists with projects during peak workloads, including data entry, research, and coordination.
  • Cross-Functional Communication: Maintains clear communication across teams to support efficiency and collaboration.
  • Problem Solving: Applies problem-solving skills to address challenges and improve workflows.
  • Time Management: Manages time effectively, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality.
  • Quality Assurance: : Ensures accuracy and quality across all assigned work.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborates with team members to support a positive and productive work environment.
  • Continuous Learning: Continuously learns and applies knowledge to enhance performance and versatility.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned
Education
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in a production environment
  • Knowledge of quality control and safety regulations
Skills
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to make informed decisions
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Work Environment & PPE
  • Fast paced production environment; some areas may involve heat or working with sharp materials.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and handle large pieces of glass.
  • Must be able to operate equipment such as saws, welders, drills, screw guns, punches, and end mills (training provided).
  • Required PPE based on production line or task:
    • Safety glasses
    • Hearing protection
    • Cut resistant gloves and sleeves
  • Physical Demands:
    • Medium to Heavy
    • Occasional: 100 lbs
    • Frequent: 50 lbs
    • Constant: 10 lbs
Work Schedule
  • 2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday: 3:00 PM -2:00 AM (Some lines operate 6:00 AM-4:30 PM.)
  • Fridays: Overtime scheduled as needed.
