What You Will Be Doing:

Production Associate Lead/Crew Leader

  • Encourage all members of the production team to stay on task and remain at their workstation
  • Confer with Plant Manager to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments.
  • Demonstrate equipment operations and safety procedures to new employees, or assign employees to experienced workers for training.
  • Observe work and monitor gauges, dials, and other indicators to ensure that operators conform to production or processing standards.
  • Recommend to Plant Management ideas to motivate employees and to improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency.
  • Determine factors affecting production processes

Skills You Bring:

  • Supervisory Responsibilities - Leads 3-5 team members and conveys Management's expectations and direction. Responsibilities include training and directing work of assigned team and making recommendations to Management for team.
  • Computer Skills - To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Manufacturing software, Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
  • Language Skills - Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Mathematical Skills - Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
