Golden Aluminum is seeking a highly motivated Procurement Specialist to support and enhance our purchasing, storeroom, and warehouse operations. The role, reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, focuses on streamlining procurement processes, improving inventory accuracy, conducting data-driven analysis, and identifying cost-saving opportunities across the supply chain. The position also involves monitoring and developing budget controls to ensure optimal spending, and adherence to safety and quality standards

Create and process purchase orders for MRO, production supplies, and raw materials.

Develop and monitor budget according to production requirements.

Maintain relationships with key suppliers and monitor vendor performance.

Track open POs, confirm deliveries, and resolve discrepancies or delays.

Collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering, Production, and other departments to ensure the proper selection and implementation of best practices for MRO selection.

Analyze purchasing trends and vendor performance using ERP data.

Generate and maintain procurement KPIs (cost savings, OTIF, PO cycle time, obsolescence control).

Support root cause analysis for procurement errors or inventory imbalances.



Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business, Engineering, or related field (preferred).

3+ years of procurement or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment.

Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Epicor).

Strong analytical and Excel skills; Power BI or Tableau knowledge is a plus.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.

Knowledge of MRO, indirect purchasing, and vendor contract terms.
