Join Our Team as a Processing Lead!
Are you a hands-on leader with a strong background in manufacturing and machining? We're looking for a dedicated Processing Lead to coordinate daily operations, ensure quality and safety standards, and drive continuous improvement in our processing department.
Pay: Receive starting pay of $29.50/hr, quarterly bonuses, profit sharing, and a $2,000 hiring bonus after 90 days

Position Specifics: Shift: 1st shift! Monday to Friday 7:30am - 5pm
Location: Dura-Bar Metal Services, York PA: 90 Grumbacher Road York, Pennsylvania 17404
What you'll do: - Coordinate and delegate daily tasks for processing employees.
- Lead by example, promoting a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork.
- Operate and assist with mills, saws, lathes, and inspection trestles to ensure product accuracy and tolerance.
- Perform quality assurance checks and ensure customer requirements are met.
- Train team members on equipment use and standard procedures.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement process improvements.
- Maintain accurate ERP system entries and uphold warehouse organization.
- Support shipping and receiving functions (DMS only).
- Promote and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
What you'll need: - High School Diploma or GED. We can help with a free GEDworks program!
- 3+ years of manufacturing and machining experience (band saws, lathes, trestles, mills).
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and ISO standards.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and using measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, micrometer).
- Basic math skills
- Skilled in operating forklifts, cranes, and basic tools (wood saw, pneumatic nail gun, banding equipment).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
Nice to haves:
- Prior manufacturing experience in the metal industry or CNC experience
- Fork truck experience
- Team Lead, Supervisor, leadership experience
